Geoffrey Hilditch wrote a series of articles under the psyudomym "Gortonian", describing various aspects of his rise through the managerial ranks in the bus industry.  The articles later formed the basis of his first two books (listed elsewhere), Looking at Buses and A Further Look at Buses.

The bus doctor looks back - Alan Millar recalls the career of Alan Westwell, who held senior management positions with Southport Corporation, Coventry Corporation, Glasgow CT/Greater Glasgow PTE, Tayside Regional Council, Strathclyde Buses, Greater Manchester Buses/GM Buses North and Dublin Bus.

Michael Fowler recalls his time as a conductor on Doncaster trolleybuses (issue 39) and part time driver (49) with Doncaster and various independents.

Following the change of Editor in 2005, most issues of the magazine now include articles from industry professionals, and in each issue, Roger Davies rambles in the "Roger upfront" column.
